Meet The Face Behind Thibodeau Home Inspection Service

I’m Marc Thibodeau, proud owner of Thibodeau Home Inspection Service.

I look forward to sharing my story. I hope that you will enjoy getting to know me better.

After spending fifteen years in the construction industry, I felt that there was a need for an honest home inspection company. With the aim of being that company, I began Thibodeau Home Inspection Service twenty-one years ago.

Over the course of the last two decades, the home inspection business has come a long way. The percentage of homes inspected at purchase has gone from fifty percent, twenty years ago to around ninety percent today. Report systems used to be mainly paper-based, but most are now computerized. Today, home inspectors are far better trained. Home inspectors in Ontario have never been licensed or regulated, but legislation has recently been passed to license home inspectors in Ontario which should take effect by 2019. I am glad to be able to say that I am in a position to receive this license when it comes into force.

Working alongside other real estate professionals, such as realtors, to help our clients make a well informed, successful home purchase, is what drives me to keep doing what I do. I genuinely enjoy working with people every day and believe that I am helping them make the right decisions during the critical process of home buying.

I find it extremely rewarding when I save a person from purchasing without being aware of significant problems with a house that would have otherwise cost them dearly. This passion for helping people make the right decisions has earned me the National Home Inspector NHI designation.

Alongside my passion for well-constructed homes, my customer service skills, innovative measures and positive relationships with other real estate professionals have helped me achieve success over the last twenty-one years.

When I am not at work, I am a caring father to my children. We all enjoy hiking, camping, canoeing, and dabble in pottery. As an individual, I believe what sets me apart from the others is my honesty, integrity, and long-term service. I believe that our clients are clients forever.

I have enjoyed sharing my story about the things which matter to me and how they influence the way I do business.
